“Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person’s life.”

kindness

helping someone is the best act for changing the life of that person. thousands of people out there are struggling to get a onetime meal. they are not even able to buy the things they need. in the present world, and in current situations everyone is struggling to have basic needs to fulfil. the best thing we can do to bring a better life for poor and needy is to provide them not only food but also other things of daily needs like clothes, shoes, groceries, small equipment’s, fruits, medicines, books etc. and can also try to educate people some methods.

Wall of kindness

a wall where people keep the things they do not need, and the needy people took them. the things either new or used are kept on a wall and the needy took them. no one noes the donor and receiver. it also keeps the privacy of needy people.

The wall of kindness (دیوار مہربانی‎) is a charity work phenomenon and a kind of welfare, usually done by attaching cloth hangers from outside of houses; those encourage people to donate miscellaneous useful things such as winter clothing.

It was introduced by an anonymous Iranian and the practice quickly spread throughout the country. The motto of the movement are two sentences which appear on the walls: “Leave what you don’t need” and “Take what you do”.

the wall of kindness is not a unique idea. it is working in many countries. people create a wall of kindness and put the unusable stuff there. they try to keep things there which they will not going to use.

wall of kindness

wall of kindness is also present in many cities of Pakistan as in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Azad Kashmir etc.

cities of Pakistan

my idea of wall of kindness:

mostly in wall of kindness people keep their used clothes and shoes etc. but if we could be able to make it possible that people not only keep their clothes but also keep the leftover food. as mostly in our families the remained food is either discarded or stored for the next day but mostly not used on next days. and then again discarded. so, if we could be able to encourage people to keep their leftovers in wall of kindness. it will help people to eat food at least once a day. and we can also encourage people to keep their any kind of unusable stuff which may be useful for some needy people. it will help the poor to get their daily household things to run their families and they will be able to survive in society. it will be helpful for their daily requirements.

the main purpose of the idea is to provide needy people with food and daily basic things of need. and it could be possible if we encourage people to keep, they’re not in use food and other things just in wall of kindness.

it will be helpful to maintain the self-respect of needy people as no one will know who keep or who picked up things. it will eventually lead towards a better society, a society where people care for each other, respect each other, and help each other. it will groom the people and the country based on humanity.

What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness?

I will try to study more keenly on my idea and will refine it to make it possible to work on it on immediate basis.

thanks a lot Amal team to make us realize these things and giving a vision to see things on a society and humanity base.
